Thomas Annan's Glasgow for the National Library of Scotland

Thomas Annan's Glasgow is a photography and geolocation heritage project for the National Library of Scotland.

Thomas Annan's Glasgow is a photography and geolocation heritage project. The challenge of the site design was to integrate an archive collection of photographs in such a way that they could be geo-located to a map interface that would display both contemporary map interface and enable transition to a recent satellite image. The site was a joint project between the digital map library team and the learning team at the NLS.

Working in conjunction with the Learning Team and the Digital Map Team at NLS in the early planning and concept stages, Mark Haddon then designed and project managed development and delivery.
